明後日は卒業式です。すごく嫌です。
学生のままがいいです。もうバイト生活は嫌です。

高校３年間の事を話すと長くなるので、
また卒業式の後にでも書きます 。

今日は前に話した、卒論(graduation thesis)を書きます。
季節は少しずれますが、クリスマスについてです。

"Christmas and Peace" Nanjo Maika

I love the Christmas season. Department stores and shopping malls are all in Christmas decorations. You see the illumination of the trees blinking beautifully and you can hear Christmas carols wherever you go. This Christmas atmosphere makes my heart warm and happy.


There are many Christmas stories around the world. Have you heard about the movie called "Joyeux Noel"? This movie is based on a true story on the battle field of France and Scotland against the Germans in France during World WarⅠ. On Christmas Eve, the Scott's began to sing Christmas songs accompanied by bagpipes. Soon all the soldiers were singing together that
were killing each other only a few hours ago. What a change! They agreed with the unofficial ceasefire. The soldiers showed their family photos to each other and exchanged gifts like chocolates and champagne. The senior officers who heard about it ordered to change the members of the troops and increase shellfire so that an unofficial ceasefire would not happen again. However it happened, the same thing the next year.
Some people may say that the unofficial ceasefire was useless because the war continued for another 3 years. However the story reminds us of The Christmas Spirit, "loving, sharing and caring" for others. The story also gives us hope that wars will be over. Love had still remained in
people's hearts though it was restrained by the wars. This is the evidence that all the soldiers agreed with the unofficial Christmas truce.

A very Merry Christmas And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one Without any fear

War is over if you want it
War is over...Now




I know that the reality is not that easy but I think it's good to have hope. I hope that wars will be over and the day will come sometime when all the people in the world can say "Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" with all their hearts.
